Utah officers demanded Discord turn over server records containing Tyler Robinson's communication: affidavit

The Utah State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) requested subscriber information, phone numbers, email addresses and other identifiable information related to all members of Discord channels that suspected killer Tyler Robinson was involved with. Robinson faces the death penalty if convicted in Kirk's assassination.

In a recently disclosed affidavit to obtain a search warrant, it was revealed that SBI requested that Discord provide "names and server IDs" from servers with names "Craftopia," "Gamin," as well as "The Corruption."

"The names and server IDs for the following Discord guild/servers “Cafetoria”, “Gamin”, and “The Corruption” were identified as Discord guild/servers that Tyler Robinson is believed to have interacted with," the warrant stated.
