Twitter employees who donated to campaigns gave overwhelmingly to Democrats: FEC

Nearly all Twitter employees who made online campaign contributions donated to Democrats in 2021, according to data from the Federal Elections Commission (FEC).

Analysis by the New York Post shows that 99% of personal contributions by employees went to ActBlue, the Democratic Party's fundraising platform. Only eight of the 569 total donations by employees were made to WinRed, the Republican fundraising counterpart. 

Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) received the largest GOP donation of $250 from former finance VP Rich Sullivan.

The anti-Trump Republican is not running for reelection in 2022.
Donations to Democrats by Twitter staff totaled nearly $15,000, according to FEC data.
