National gaming retailer GameStop is looking to acquire eBay in a $56 billion deal, and its roughly 1,600 stores in the U.S. would allow it to become a competitor with Amazon.
GameStop locations would potentially become drop-off and shipping locations if the acquisition went through, and the stores would broadcast live sales of eBay products, according to the Associated Press.
