Spiked Online Editor Brendan O’Neill says Facebook was “globalising Chinese-style censorship” in banning suggestions COVID-19 came from a lab in Wuhan.

“This is the situation we’re now in,” Mr O’Neill told Sky News host Andrew Bolt. “We’re in a situation where Silicone Valley, the supposedly woke oligarchs of Silicone Valley, trust the Chinese Communist regime more than they trust their own citizens to have free debate.

“That’s really shocking.”
